The 673d Air Base Wing at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) announces the availability of the JBER Site SS019 Building 755 Underground Storage Tank (UST) 17 No Action Proposed Plan dated September 2024. The SS019 Proposed Plan documents the U.S. Air Force’s rationale for taking no further action at this site. This decision is based on the absence of site-related contaminants regulated under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 and petroleum-related contaminants managed under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program at concentrations that would present unacceptable risk to human health or the environment.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation participated in the preparation and review of this Proposed Plan. The SS019 Building 755 UST 17 No action Proposed Plan is available at restorationpublic.com/SS019proposedplan (this website -click download button below) and https://ar.cce.af.mil/ (search under Fort Richardson, AK).
